A couple who used to live in the Research Triangle had moved to Atlanta and with the riding club in their new area were heading up to Bryson City for the holiday weekend. I rode my 2002 Kawasaki ZR-7s out and had some fun with them.
Mostly I remember the R1200RT and FJR1300 riders trying to pull far away from me. They succeeded in straight stretches but, as you can see, there weren’t a lot. I had better cornering and caught up by the time we exited the next curve.
