I switched from an automatic drip maker to pour-over. I realized that the cost of a truly decent drip maker was just not worth it. So far I’m liking it better. I’m not really interested in going any further – pre-ground is good enough for my tastes. The dripper is a Sea To Summit X-Brew and the kettle is a cheap one from Amazon. I heat the water in a Bodum Ibis kettle; I got tired of the difficulty of getting a consistent pour from that.
