Elderly Adeline is settling into an assisted care facility and forwarded mail arrives with a letter from Helene, a name she hasn’t heard in a very long time. She’s very possessive of that letter before evening opening it, demanding that nobody else touch it.
It seems I’m into a run of mid-century lesbian love lost stories. There’s not a lot to say about this one; the story is beautifully portrayed but with under 9 minutes until the closing credits it’s definitely a short. I’d still suggest watching it, though it does have heavy themes of abuse by nuns at a boarding school.
