A late start due to the grueling and late right the night before. We had lunch before even starting the bikes, going to Blake’s Lottaburger in the same lot as the hotel. Blake’s is a chain of classic fast food/burger joints of the 1950s and most if not all of its locations are in New Mexico. I rather liked their offering, too…have to love a place that has green chillies as a burger topping option.
Like the previous day, this was a fairly long, ultimately difficult and tiring ride. We rode through a bit of Colorado and a lot of Utah, stopping for lunch in Moab. The wonderful part of it was seeing some beautiful areas, including the sight below, which is just off US 191 near Newspaper Rock.
It was after 1 A.M. when we got to our hotel.
